Welcome to my 3rd

Totally Tasty Tuesday!

One thing that I love to eat is salad, anytime day or night! I love to mix it up and put whatever we have in the kitchen into my salads.

I always make sure to eat protein at each meal time, for this particular meal I put meat and cheese on my salad.

015 Whenever I go to my local deli I always ask them if they have meat or cheese ends. You get a great variety for a great price.004 The lunchmeat is 0.99 per lb005And the cheese is 2.49 per lb  008 I choose the meat and cheese that taste best for this particular salad.012 I cut it up.013 And I add it to my salad and enjoy!

014

How do you like to prepare your salads?

I am always looking for new things to put on my salad and I love trying new things.

Let me know and I will try it out and post about it!

I don’t know about you but I love rice pudding! One of the main reasons why I started Totally Tasty Tuesday was to share recipes when you find one worth keeping.  This one is defiantly a keeper!

Creamy Rice Pudding

All you will need is:
  • 3/4 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups milk, divided
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine 1 1/2 cups cooked rice, 1 1/2 cups milk, sugar and salt. Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy, 15 to 20 minutes. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup milk and beaten egg. Cook 2 minutes more, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and stir in butter and vanilla.

Serve warm and enjoy!
