Starting a new chapter in my life!

I recently got  engaged and I am about to start a new life with my wonderful fiancé. I am working three jobs right now trying to save as much money as I can. My fiancé is in school full time while working a few part time jobs. I am the fourth oldest of 11 children. I am currently living at home until I move in with my husband after we are married. Growing up in a large family has taught me to be very frugal with my money.I work hard to make my money and i work hard to save my money as well. Is it just me or does it seem like the dollar doesn’t stretch as far as it use too? I make my money last by not buying new things and improving that I already have to look new. I have been cutting back on my spending but I know that isn’t enough especially when I don’t have much more to cut back on. I love watching all of the do-it-yourself show on HGTV and TLC. I got to thinking, if all of the people on those shows could do all of their projects by themselves, so can I. I am very grateful to my parents for everything that they have taught me over the years. it is almost time for me to start my own family and pass on to my children everything that my parents have taught me. Fun easy money saver posts coming soon, please come back and see how you can start saving on your everyday expenses.

  3. Welcome to blogland. I'm new here too-I look forward to seeing what you have going on-and how the wedding planning goes. I just got married a year ago, and I have a TON of great tips on how to do things economically...weddings are not cheap. Feel free to email me anytime and I can share some of my thoughts on saving money while you plan! Also-I totally understand where you are coming from with getting married and him being in school etc-its hard! I'm a professional student, and we live off my husband's salary. I look forward to hearing from you, and seeing what's in store!
