Fun Fall Food

I hope everyone had a great weekend and was able to enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having. I would just like to say:

Hello and Welcome to my # 13 Totally Tasty Tuesday!

Who says that delicious food has to be home made? Oh wait, I say that! Most of the time I would agree with myself on that statement. My whole life I have been spoiled with home cooking and I love it.

Although it is good to know that we do have some amazing fun fast alternatives. This past weekend I hosted a little gathering of a few close friends for work, nothing fancy just one of our casual work gatherings. I only served two things; hot apple cider and pumpkin bread.  Two of the easiest things ever!

All you need is:

Pumpkin mix from Trader Joe’s
2 Large Eggs
1/2 Cup Vegetable
1 Cup Water

Apple Cider
Cinnamon
Nutmeg

Mix all ingredients together.

218

Poor into a greased pan.

234

Preheat the oven to 350.

236

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.

253

Let cool and enjoy.

259

It was so good I didn’t have time to take a picture of it before everyone starting eating it.

264

As for the apple cider.

266

Bring cider to a low boil in a sauce pot/pan.

265

273 Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg into the pan and let simmer for a few minutes.

275

Now sit back relax and enjoy!

Apples and Dip! TTT # 12

Hello and welcome to my 12

Totally Tasty Tuesday!

A few weeks ago I showed you our peach tree.  Well it is finally that time of year for us to pick our apples. Each year our apple tree gets bigger and bigger with more and more apples on it.  This yeah we pick a lot of apples, which mean we have a lot of different apple recipes.

One of my families personal favorite recipes is our apple dip. We make it at least once a week, if not for company than for ourselves. It is super easy and delicious. The best part about it is you can change it up how ever you would like or whatever you have in your home.

Here is the recipe:

1 8 oz package Cream Cheese (softened)
1/4 cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
3 Tablespoons Maple Syrup (or to your likings)
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Blend together with a fork or a hand mixer for a smoother consistency. Serve with apple slices and enjoy!

007
Here is our apple tree! isn’t it getting so big?

043
And the apples are just delicious! Yummy!

045
Apples are one of the best fall snacks. They are like Gods natural candy!

044

The benefits to growing your own apples/fruits and vegetables are endless. Just to name a few, there are no pesticides or harsh chemicals on them. The amount of food grown will save you a lot of money and you will challenge your mind to be more creative with what food you do have! You will never regret growing a garden, it is amazing and so much fun!

Chocolate Cinch Frape TTT # 11

Happy Tuesday!!
A lot of people might not agree with me about the beauty of Tuesday although it is a great day for many reasons:

1) It is not Monday!
2) It can only go up from here!
3) You know that after tomorrow the week is half over!
4) You still have some left over energy from the past weekend!
And last but certainly not least.
5) Each day you wake up is a gift from God and we should appreciate each day as if it were the last!

So on this beautiful Tuesday morning there is not a better breakfast than a home made Chocolate Chinch Frape. Filled with a rich chocolate / coffee taste and 24 grams of protein you can’t find a better or faster breakfast!

All you need is:

6 Frozen Coffee Cubes
1 Cup Milk
1 t Coco
2 Scoops of Cafe Latte Cinch Protein
1/2 t Vanilla
3 Scoops of Stevia

Blend everything together in a blender for at least 1 minutes to make sure it is fully blended!

019

Every week we take our left over coffee and freeze it in ice cube trays. It taste great blended with Cafe Latte Cinch!

028

I have tried so many different kinds of stevia and this one is my favorite!

031

I got this reusable Starbucks cup from Brandon and I love it. I use it every day for everything!

032

Now you can sit back and enjoy! Although if you are anything like me you don’t have time to sit so you can grab it and take it with you wherever life may bring you today!

Thank you from

Totally Tasty Tuesday # 10 Peaches

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

My thoughts and prayers went out to all of the people who lost their lives on 9/11 and for all of their family and friends. May God bless each and everyone of them.

This past weekend was amazingly beautiful.  Our peaches on our peach tree were perfectly ripe and ready to eat. We planted our peach tree about 4 1/2 years ago and it was a tiny twig.  We bought it on sale for about $10. look at it now!

046

We haven’t had time to make anything yet because we just got the peaches but don’t worry I will! :)  For now I would like to talk to show you what a $10 tree can get you.

If you think about the Cost and Worth of the peaches it is just pennies per peach. The best part about it is that they come back every year!

What do you grow in your garden?

What is your favorite peach recipe?

Basic Muffins

Hello and welcome
to my 5th
Totally Tasty Tuesday!

Today I will be baking your basic muffin 3 different ways:

1. Blueberry
2. Banana
3. Cranberry
023

I always start with the basic muffin recipe.

1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
   1/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
   3/4 teaspoon salt
      1 beaten egg
   3/4 cup milk
   1/3 cup cooking oil

In a large mixing bowl stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.  Make a well in the center and set aside. Combine egg, milk and oil. Stir just till moistened; batter  should be lumpy.008

Grease muffing cups or line with paper bake cups; fill 2/3 full.

015

Bake at 400 for 8 to 10 minutes for mini muffins and 20 to 25 for regular size.

017

Now here comes the fun part, preparing the muffins to be just the way you like them!

Blueberry:  Prepare Basic Muffins as above, except combine 3/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, thawed, and 2 tablespoons additional sugar. Carefully fold into batter.

Banana: Prepare Basic Muffins as above, except decrease milk to 1/2 cup. Stir 1 cup mashed banana into batter.

Cranberry: Prepare Basic Muffins as above, except coarsely chop 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries and combine with 1/4 cup additional sugar. Fold into batter.
