I don’t even know where to begin.
I guess I can start off with saying I am sorry I haven’t posted anything in a while. I have been a little preoccupied these past few weeks.
On May 24 my Fiancé called off our wedding. He felt that he wasn’t ready to take on that much responsibility at this time.
I don’t really know what else to say besides God has a plan for me. As of right now I don’t know what that plan is but I am looking forward to finding out and I would love for all of you to join me every step of the way.
Thanks for following!
Elisabeth
Im SO sorry to hear about that! My now husband and I called off our wedding two months before and it was the best decision we ever made- though one of the hardest. There was some major growing up to do on his part, and some self exploration on mine. Five months later we realized how much we belonged together and how much we would sacrifice for one another.
ReplyDeleteWe have been happily married for a year now <3 I know it sounds cliche, but if its meant to be it will figure itself out.
Best if luck to you and God Bless :)
oh my goodness, I am so sorry to hear this. Everything happens for a reason. You are an incredible woman!! <3
ReplyDeleteYou deserve the BEST!!!! Everything happens for a reason and I LOVE YOU!!!! You are an amazing person and you are doing great. Don't worry and Gob Bless!!!

Im sure this is devastating right now. But perhaps things will still work out. Marriage is a huge commitment and its better that hes called things off now than after you got married. Dont lose hope. God does have a specific plan for you girl. Sometimes we have no idea why these roadblocks come but He'll get you through it!
ReplyDeletePraying for you right now,
Sarah
I just found your blog through "Just me and my life", and I just wanted to say that I am so sorry that this happened, you seem like a strong girl, and this will only make you stronger! Trust that there is a better plan for you, even if it doesn't make sense now. Good luck girl - I look forward to following on your new journey!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog through Just Me & My Life too! Of course there is nothing I can say to make your situation better but I'll be thinking of you. Thank goodness this happened sooner rather than later I guess.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I found your blog. I love reading, going to garage sales, & being a nanny too! Can't wait to follow you through your journeys!

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear but you seem to have a great attitude over the whole issue. Way to go. Life is tough and at least you found out now vs. later.
ReplyDeleteBless your heart. I can only imagine your disappointment, but I think your fiance' was right to admit he wasn't ready for the responsibility of being married. Some day the time will be right for you, and you'll have an amazing marriage to the man God wants for you.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog, and I am SO sorry about this. Everything will work out in the end. Time is the best healer.

I'm so sorry! But this just means that God has huge, fabulous, ferosh, wonderful, amazing things in store for you. It's better to have it work out this way than after you have kiddos ect. You're a super beautiful woman and you'll find someone worthy of your time someday... probably a few of them! You'll be a stronger woman because of this!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for all of your blessings and prayers. It has been helping!
